4th On Flagler Blog Post
July 4th is a time for fun and reconnecting with family. It's also a time for remembrance, acknowledging all those veterans and service members who have sacrificed for our country. This July 4th, NewDay USA celebrated our country's founding and commemorates those who have protected it from harm.
NewDay USA regularly works with veterans to ensure they can achieve the American dream of homeownership, allowing thousands of former service members to purchase or refinance their homes. NewDay USA only serves veterans, providing a unique service and expertise.
NewDay USA understands the sacrifices veterans and their families make both at home and abroad. Recently, CEO Rob Posner and his wife Zina traveled to Georgia Military Academy Prep School to award two scholarships to the children of disabled and Gold Star veterans. The NewDay Foundation regularly donates a portion of NewDay USA's income to charitable causes that benefit veteran families. Just as NewDay USA's customers gave back to their country, Rob and Zina Posner are always looking for ways to give back to the veteran community.
To move closer to its veteran customer base, NewDay USA is opening a second headquarters in West Palm Beach, Florida. Florida has the third-largest veteran population in the country and is home to over 1.5 million former service members. To thank the West Palm Beach community for welcoming NewDay USA with open arms, NewDay USA was an official sponsor of the 4th on Flagler, the city's annual 4th of July celebration.
The 4th on Flagler runs through the heart of downtown West Palm Beach, moving past NewDay USA's future offices, where 600 newly hired mortgage professionals will work. The celebration featured fireworks, live music, and an awards ceremony for West Palm's "Hometown Heroes." The 4th on Flagler was a time to celebrate and recognize those who have served our nation. In the words of NewDay USA CEO Rob Posner, "As our nation celebrates Independence Day, it's important to remember and commemorate those veterans and active service members that maintain our freedom. We salute their service."
